Welcome to the official website of the Embassy of Georgia to the State of Kuwait.

I am deeply honored and privileged to represent Georgia in the State of Kuwait.

Georgia's relations with the State of Kuwait, whilst based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity and mutual respect, are developing steadily.

The history of diplomatic relations between Georgia and the State of Kuwait spans over 30 years (established on September 3, 1992) and leads to the deepening of political, economic and cultural partnership between two friendly nations.

It is worth to emphasize that the reforms implemented by the Government of Georgia have established a liberal, stable, secure and corruption free business environment, which along with strategic geographic location, turned Georgia into an attractive country for investing. Furthermore, the free trade agreements signed with the world’s leading economies and integration with liberal markets have significantly enhanced country’s investment attractiveness. All the above mentioned creates a unique opportunity to attract Kuwaiti investments to Georgia and promote mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation.

We welcome the fact that Georgia is becoming an increasingly popular destination for Kuwaiti tourists. This is further facilitated by the direct flights between Kuwait and Georgian cities. In this regard, Kuwaiti nationals and holders of Kuwaiti residency permits travel to Georgia for tourism purposes without a visa.

We trust the website will be handy to keep abreast with the current developments in Georgia’s bilateral relations and foreign policy agenda, as well as a variety of topics related to history, politics, economy and culture.
