Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the State of Kuwait H.E. Noshrevan Lomtatidze attended the opening of the first Starbucks store in Tbilisi

On July 13, 2026 the first Starbucks store opened in Tbilisi.
The brand was brought into Georgia by Kuwait based Alshaya Group, which holds the Starbucks franchise rights in the Eurasian and Middle Eastern markets.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia H.E. Noshrevan Lomtatidze, representatives of the executive branch and business sector of Georgia, Alshaya Group founder Mr.Mohammed Alshaya, and other senior officials.
