Bilateral Relations between Georgia and the Sultanate of Oman

Diplomatic relations between Georgia and the Sultanate of Oman were established on 1 January 2007 (with the appointment of the Ambassador).

Fields of cooperation:

Political cooperation is being developed on a bilateral basis in addition to being promoted in the framework of International Organizations.

Georgia and the Sultanate of Oman have been preparing favorable conditions for investment. This includes the strengthening of the legal basis, as well as the enhancing of commercial relations based on a free trade agreement.

Georgia and the Sultanate of Oman are preparing the legal basis for a simplified visa regime for their citizens.
